Hadley's Prom Photos at a family farm

Every once in a while, a session comes along that feels like a country song come to life — and that’s exactly what happened with Hadley and Justin’s prom night shoot.

Set on Justin’s family’s farm in South Congaree, this session was already something special. Surrounded by open fields, family, and southern charm, the evening started with a classic prom photo vibe… and ended with one of the sweetest surprises I’ve ever had the honor to capture.

Justin’s aunt and uncle welcomed us onto their land and even let us take some portraits with his vintage VW bug — the perfect throwback detail that added personality and nostalgia to their photos. Hadley’s parents (and their sweet dog!) came along too, making it a family affair full of love, support, and celebration.

And then… Justin got down on one knee.

Yes — he proposed! Right there in the middle of their senior prom photo session, surrounded by loved ones and golden light. Hadley said YES, and the joy that followed was so real and so pure, I still get chills thinking about it.

After the big moment, we celebrated with dancing in the bed of a pickup truck and leaned fully into their cowboy prom dreams. Boots, denim, love, and laughter — it was all there.
