Jenna's Graduation Portraits at USC's Horseshoe

This graduation session was extra special because it wasn’t just any client in front of my lens — it was my dear friend Jenna! We’re both graduating from the same master’s program at the University of South Carolina, and getting to capture this milestone for her was such an honor and joy.

We started the session on campus, right where so many memories were made. Before we even stepped outside, there was a little behind-the-scenes moment that made us both laugh — helping Jenna zip up her dress in a tiny bathroom in the Callcott Building! The things we do for the perfect grad photos, right?

Jenna looked amazing in her cap and gown, and as we walked through campus, we found some gorgeous light and iconic backdrops. One of the highlights was when she tossed her cap into the air... and completely forgot to smile! (Don’t worry — the outtakes are hilarious and totally worth keeping.)

These photos capture so much more than graduation — they reflect hard work, late nights, deep friendship, and everything this journey has meant to us. Jenna, thank you for letting me celebrate you through my camera. I’m so proud of you, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for both of us!
